Patricia Southall was born on December 17, 1970, in the United States of America. Southall holds an American nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity. She is a daughter of Mildred Southall and father Henry Southall. She enrolled at James Madison University after completing her high school from a nearby school.

Following her graduation, she took part in Miss Virginia USA crown in late 1993 and won the pageant. In the same way, she placed first runner-up to Lu Parker of South Carolina, representing Virginia in the Miss USA 1994 pageant.

Marital Relationship with Emmitt Smith

Patricia met her now-husband, Emmitt Smith back in 1998. Soon after knowing each other for quite some time, the couple began dating. Their bond started growing with the passing days, and they finally decided to exchange their vows. They married on April 22, 2000, after dating for almost two years.
